iRiS Kinetics - Label-free bimolecular binding measurements
iRiS Kinetics Inc, based in Boston MA, has selected the small benchtop iFOUR as the spotter for their multiplex label-free detection platform.
iRiS provides a label-free multiplexed microarray platform for measuring binding interactions for a variety of biological molecules and particles including small molecules, proteins, nucleic acids, bacteria, viruses and extra-cellular vesicles. The iRiS technology allows high level of multiplexing on a low-cost, robust, compact, and easy-to-use instrument with inexpensive consumables.
iRiS Kinetics selected the small benchtop iFOUR spotter to pair with their binding measurement system. The iFOUR was customized by axiVEND, to optimize the handling of iRiS chips, and setup with custom template patterns that match analysis templates on the MX-104. This makes for a very easy and seamless workflow for biologists who wish to spot their own chips in the lab.
